What we collect

Your email address and your password (hashed — we never see it). That's the personal data. Everything else we store is public YouTube data (video titles, channels, view/like/comment counts) and the projects, scans and angles you generate.

What we never do

We do not connect to your YouTube account. We do not post on your behalf. We do not sell or share your data. We do not run ads.

How long we keep it

Data derived from the YouTube Data API is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as the API terms require. Your own work — your projects, your angles, what you marked as handled — is kept as long as your account exists, and is deleted with it. If a video disappears from YouTube, its data goes, but your angle stays: it's yours.

Your rights

Export and deletion are self-serve, from the Account screen, without contacting anyone. Export gives you your projects, angles and history as JSON. Deletion is immediate and cascades: account, projects, scans, results, billing records.

Offline and your browser

Upvid is an installable web app. Its service worker caches only static assets — never your results, never a page of yours. Nothing personal is stored in your browser cache.
